So you get a "bang for your buck" they start engines, toggle the Gear up and down, turn the HUD and Glidepath markers on & off, give you "Clearview" (as per keyboard "c"). More intuitive to use as the left button operates left brakes, right button operates right brakes, centre button all brakes and trigger park brake. To fly it you may need to re-number the HAT axis to 5 and 6 for your Mac.

Here is my simple xml, which makes use of no modifier buttons. It seems Simbabeat, just the two of us have the Saitek Aviator joystick, judging by the underwhelming response on this topic. The last two are for windows and FG ver 2.0.0 & ver 1.9.1 Guess you're using another operating system Linux perhaps. PS Internally it needs two additional names or FG won't "see" it for anyone using windows. shows independant throttles + brake left/right use Also you are missing out by not being able to switch to Mode A where on the original Aviator.xml both throttle levers are put to use enabling independant control of left and right engines. Also rather useful if you fly tail-draggers. They do make turning aircraft on the ground easier as they assist the nose-steering so your turning radius is enhanced. You also don't seem to have seperate buttons dedicated to brake left and brake right. I will need to name as 6 and 7 before I fly it in Windows.
